2021 Funathlon

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Funathlon event on June 13th was a resounding success. Therapies for Inherited Neuropathies, in partnership with the CMTA, raised over $100,000 towards ongoing research and therapies for patients with CMT.

2020 Virtual Funathlon

This year’s FunAthlon event on June 6 was held as a virtual event due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. This still allowed us to get people together through their remote participation, although the usual in-person get together has many advantages and will continue next year. A walk, swim and bike was again held in Oxford in limited fashion, led by O’Donnell family members Steve, Sherri, Jaime and Sean. We asked remote participants to do the same from their own socially isolated and safe location and then send us photos marking their participation. Please check out the photo gallery below, and the exciting video footage of Steve and Sean.

2019 Funathlon

The annual FunAthlon was held in Oxford, Maryland on June 1, and included walk, swim and bike events followed by a get at bayside together for lunch and the ice cream. We are very pleased that it has attracted broad participation every year, with many repeat attendees, families and supporters of our efforts to aid people with CMT. We are looking forward with anticipation to its 20th anniversary running in 2021.
