About TIN Cup
What is TIN CUP?
TIN CUP is the major annual fundraising event for Therapies For Inherited Neuropathies (TIN). This event brings people together who are passionate about increasing awareness about Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT) and raising funds for research that translates into therapies, treatments, and ultimately a cure for CMT patients.
Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, known as CMT, affects 1 in 2500 people which is more than 2.8 million worldwide. This debilitating, medically incurable disease knows no age limits. It attacks the peripheral nerves and slowly cripples those affected.
TIN’s Founder (pictured) suffers from CMT as do many people who work with TIN. This makes TIN’s dedication to making the lives of CMT people better a true passion!
Join us in our mission of finding and funding projects with true promise of providing successful therapies and treatment strategies for CMT patients by participating in our Annual TIN CUP golf tournament fundraising event.
